About The Event

The Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) 8 week course has been taught worldwide for nearly 40 years. It is the gold standard in research-based mindfulness training.

MBSR incorporates wisdom from Eastern traditions in a secular (non-religious) way and invites participants to live their lives differently. More than a "tool" or a "coping mechanism", MBSR can produce a lifestyle shift.

During the course, you will need to set aside time (30-40 minutes) and make a commitment to a 6 day per week meditation practice. You will also be practicing different forms of guided mindfulness meditation during class time. This is a co-journey with the instructor and the other participants of the topics above.

As part of the class, we recommend that you attend a "Day of Mindfulness" mini-retreat. There will be one scheduled during a weekend within the eight weeks (Sunday, October 21st from 10:30 am-3:30 pm).

If you cannot attend that one, there will be others in the future. This event will cost an additional 25 Euro which includes a vegetarian lunch. You must register separately for that event.

No previous mindfulness or meditation knowledge necessary.

Tea and snacks will be provided. Please wear comfortable clothing.
